Although its kind of hard to believe with the 16 inches of snow that fell here this week but my first spring craft show is coming up in just about a month.
I'll be at Clover Market in Bryn Mawr, PA on April 22 from 10am-4pm. My husband and I attended for the first time last year and its a really well run show, very organized with a great variety of vendors - craftsman, artists, vintage and food.
And as I prepare for that show, another is ending. Its hard to believe but this is the last weekend for my gallery show at The Bellefonte Art Museum. If you're in central PA you can still see my work until Sunday afternoon.

Gallery Opening
Yesterday's opening was quite a success - very much worth the 5 hour round trip journey.
The gallery was full of visitors from the minute the doors opened and it was still going strong when my husband and I had to leave at 2:30. For a small museum, Bellefonte has quite a following, many people who loyally attend First Sunday gallery openings. Its quite a testament to the tireless volunteers and employees who have worked so hard to build its reputation over the past
10 years or so.

Currently there is a pen and ink exhibit, photography, digital art, fiber collage and in the Windows gallery, colorful Kanga garments from East Africa.
If you visit please be sure not to the miss the Underground Railroad exhibit on the third floor. A small but clever display allows visitors to see the two secret rooms recently found in the building that hid escaped slaves on their way to Canada.

Bellefonte Art Museum Gallery Show
I'm honored to be the featured jeweler for March at The Bellefonte Museum of Art in Bellefonte, PA. (For reference this small town is just to the north of State College, home to Penn State.) Its charming - the county seat for Centre county with a largely intact Victorian era downtown.
The museum itself is in a beautiful limestone structure built in 1810 and is on the National Historic Registry. It contains multiple galleries with rotating exhibits and a permanent Underground Railroad exhibit.
My work will fill three cases in the upstairs jewelry gallery.
I had this same opportunity back in 2015 but I wasn't able to attend the opening. This time, my husband and I will be there. Opening is 12-4:30 and I intend to be there for at least the first couple of hours. I'd love to meet you if you can make it!
